Our Mission

Our mission is using our skills to help young people gain theirs. We empower young people who live on the margins of society to thrive, not just survive.

We do this by sharing responsibility alongside young people, making their voices heard and ensuring they have a seat at the table and having somewhere to turn to, and someone to talk to, wherever and whenever, they are in need.

One of the ways we aim to keep children and young people safe is by ensuring that our volunteers and youth workers first have an Enhanced DBS in place. We also have Safeguarding precedures in place.

Meet

Henry

Since young, Henry has been crafting all kinds of wood, from bamboo to Nsansa. Henry in his small backyard workshop uses sustainably sourced materials to create some of our beautiful utensils. Henry’s ambition is to build a state of the art workspace to increase his earning as well as to teach young people skills in handcrafting.
